If you’ve been reading my blogs or have met me, you may have caught on to my biggest passion. Bringing acupuncture and Chinese medicine to my Denver communities, allows me to serve and provide an alternative and natural way to help people heal, from the inside out by finding and treating the root cause of their ailments. I love meeting and getting to work with everyone from all walks of life. This month I have the pleasure of addressing another one of my favorite groups- veterans.

We’re only a couple days away from Veterans Day and if you served I want to take a moment to thank you and to let you know that my office is always open to you!

Dealing with Trauma

In the military, you get trained to face your problems head on. But pain, stress, and PTSD aren’t always treated with the same head-on approach. A lot of the veterans that we have helped have been living with pain, stress, and trauma from their time in the military without having the tools to address the root causes. I have found that veterans shut down and/or struggle with having to verbally communicate their past experiences and am so happy to share that there is a way to heal and work through these struggles without having to talk about it.

Acupuncture treatments have been demonstrated to help with the physical, mental, and emotional wounds that soldiers endured.

Confronting Your Pain

Whether you are dealing with PTSD, emotional struggles, or physical pain, acupuncture and Chinese medicine allows you to confront your pain head on and in a healing way. The veterans we have been so fortunate to work with have found their pain to greatly improve, their cravings to lighten or completely go away and their emotional struggles quiet down which has helped their sleep and overall emotional health improve.

Even if you have tried everything that conventional medicine tells you to do without improvement, I am confident that we can work together on finding the right treatment plan for you and your unique situation and get you back to feeling alive again. As a HUGE thank you to those who have served, I am offering 20% off treatments and treatment plans for veterans during the month of November.

If you are a veteran or if you know a veteran who is struggling with any issues, please reach out today. I love helping my patients find balance and overcome the obstacles that keep them from living their lives.

Be well.
