Acupuncture can seem like one of those things that weird people do. But it’s not. It’s actually being demonstrated in scientific studies to be beneficial and helpful in ways that we are only beginning to understand. One of the best examples is with the NADA Protocol.

NADA Protocol

NADA stands for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. The protocol uses 5 acupuncture needles in the ear to treat a wide variety of issues.

The NADA Protocol has been shown to help with:

  • Reducing Stress
  • Alleviating Anxiety
  • Easing Depression
  • Healing Addiction (Drugs, alcohol, eating addictions)
  • Eliminating Disturbed Dreams
  • Removing Hopelessness
  • Pain Relief as an Opioid Alternative
  • Boosting Emotional Wellness

Why is it Different?

At Altitude Acupuncture, we use the NADA Protocol to help our clients feel a better sense of well-being, a sense of relaxation, and pain reduction. Unlike other acupuncture techniques which are placed at points all over the body, the NADA protocol uses five points on each of the ears.

Many studies have been done on the NADA protocol which demonstrate its effectiveness in helping reduce cravings and anxiety, increasing involvement in drug treatment programs, reducing the need for pharmaceutical pain relievers, and improving the quality and duration of sleep. This is an excellent treatment for first time patients as it feels less invasive, but still provides massive benefits for our clients.

NADA for Veterans

While the protocols are effective for a large number of people, one of the groups I have seen a great deal of benefit for is veterans. Earlier this month, we celebrated Veterans Day. And if you are a veteran who is suffering from PTSD, pain, or addiction caused by the difficult challenges you faced, acupuncture offers you a drug-free and natural way to overcome your struggles and heal you from inside out. And for the month of November we are offering veterans 20% off of all treatments and treatment plans during the month of November.

There are two things that I would like for you to remember. First, you are not alone. We are here to help you. And second, you don’t have to endure your pain and trauma alone. I have witnessed incredible transformations first-hand. You can get your life back.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Be well.
